Description
The roles of human resources professional and safety/risk management professionals are often intricately intertwined. In addition to the day-to-day employee administration activities, HR and safety professionals also have responsibilities for compliance with state, federal, and local employment laws and regulations. This program will focus on the roles, responsibilities, and ultimately the liabilities HR and safety professionals face in ensuring employees are fully engaged, motivated, and following established safety procedures. |

Wesley Wheeler
Wesley has over 33 years of electrical experience. Prior to joining National Electrical Contractors Association, he focused on safety as an OSHA instructor and safety director for a large industrial-based electrical contractor in Florida. Wesley has taught OSHA instructor classes for NJATC and has participated in Safety training at the annual NTI for the last 5 years. Wesley has served in many capacities in his career from electrician, foreman, superintendent, estimator, project manager to safety director. -
Keith Wheeler
USI Insurance Services Keith Wheeler brings 25 years of human resource management experience with a strong concentration as a HR Generalist. Prior to joining USI Insurance Services (formerly Benefit Controls), Mr. Wheeler held positions as: head of human resources for a large foodservice organization with over 1,000 employees in multiple states, Vice President of Human Resource Operations for a national healthcare alliance organization with multi-state locations and over 1,500 employees, Sr. Director of Human Resources & Labor Relations in New York City, and as Director of Human Resources for a national retailer with 475 locations, 2 distribution centers, and over 4,000 employees. Mr. Wheeler is an honors graduate of Winthrop University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Mr. Wheeler holds several certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. He is a frequent speaker and presenter on human resource topics for various organizations and associations. Mr. Wheeler is involved in his local community and regularly serves on a number of Non-Profit Boards.
