Laramie Sandquist
Federated Insurance Laramie Sandquist holds an undergraduate degree in business administration, an MBA in finance and risk management, and has earned several industry designations including CPCU, CLU, and ARM. His career with Federated Insurance has included positions of risk consultant, field production underwriter, risk management training manager, and risk manager – national accounts. His current position is general manager – risk management resources at Federated’s Home Office in Owatonna, Minnesota. Laramie’s experience as a speaker, and his knowledge of and passion for risk management issues give him numerous opportunities to share his expertise with many trade association members and industry groups. He is also responsible for facilitating Federated Insurance Risk Management Academy® one- and 2½-day seminars as well as leading Federated’s Risk Management Resource Center. As a native Minnesotan, Laramie appreciates the many opportunities for year-round outdoor activities the state offers him and his family. His wife and son often accompany him on running, biking, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and other “active” outings. Bowling, softball, MN professional sports enthusiast and involvement in charitable events round out the family’s favorite pastimes.
